"Nótt" is the result of a studio session by two common musicians: Gareth Davis on bass clarinet and Duane Pitre on electronics. After releasing their solo releases and other collaborations on labels like Important Records, Miasmah and Sonic Pieces, finally both came together with that 34minutes drone, with pinches of jazz, noise and experimental folklore
"Nótt" is named after the goddess of night from the norse mythology and fits very well as title, cause there is something foregrounding that feels dark as night and the longer you listen to the track, the more you discover, like your eyes adjust in the darkness
